HUMAN UNION DECLARATION

In several places we have discussed how the Human Union might start through one or more Countries
making a  declaration; a Human Union Declaration, that they were willing to negotiate to form a
Human Union. On this page we offer a sample Human Union Declaration which could be used as a
basis for such a declaration. One of our  key policies at the moment is to urge any and every Country
to make a Human Union Declaration. As soon as just one Country (or the European Union) can bring
itself  to make a Human Union Declaration the next stage of history can begin and we can start the
process of bringing an end to the civil war of humanity.  If a country makes a Human Union
Declaration it is only committing itself to negotiate to form a Human Union, not to any precise terms,
other than that the Human Union members will be democracies. Asking a country to issue a Human
Union Declaration is not asking it to commit to anything except beginning the process which over time
will bring an end to the civil war of humanity. Until we start this process we are condemned to repeat
our eternal round of conflict inequality and injustice.  The sample declaration can be read below.
It can be downloaded here in a word file:

HUMAN  UNION
DECLARATION

The people and government of

………………………………………………………………………………………………

Declare to all that:

They wish to develop a political system which respects our common
humanity and which makes possible access to political justice for all
of humanity rather than just a minority.

AND THAT THEREFORE

They offer to begin negotiations to form a Human Union with the
people and government of any other country which is willing to
genuinely co-operate in such an endeavor.

This Human Union will be characterized by a genuine commitment to
maintain some form of democracy, human rights, economic
development, international co-operation and environmental
protection amongst its members. These core values need not be
realized in an identical manner in each member but all must at least
reach a common basic level to be agreed by negotiation between the
members. Members of the Human Union will also agree never to
engage in aggressive war against each other or other peoples and to
support members when they are attacked by force.
